Volunteers
are essential to the day-to-day operation of the museum.
Several types of jobs are available to suit many levels
of expertise and age groups. Our youngest volunteers are
ten years old and our oldest are---well, never mind.

Our volunteers give
as much time to the museum as fits their schedule, from once
a season to three times a week. Indoors there are two three-hour
shift choices, 10-1 and 1-4, and volunteers usually work in
pairs. Sometimes whole families come and do a variety of jobs.
If you
love nature, love to work with groups of people, and love
Bob’s carvings, we have
lots of volunteer opportunities for you.
